King is a 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur in Mooresville, IN, who needs $2,000 for Forelimb Amputation.

We lost a pet and was looking through Pet finder and I came across King. Kept looking at his photo so we decided to go look at he Indianapolis Animal shelter. My hubby said we were not bringing home a dog, but as soon as he saw us, he jumped on us like he knew us all his life. He adopted us that day.

King lives with 2 kids and of course us. He is very playful and loud for a Black Mouth Cur. He is such a love bug and cuddle bug. He loves to go for rides and loves the park and people.

King also has friend named Cerberus a little mini pittie and a cat friend named Romeo, although he does chance Romeo so Romeo hides most of the time.

King has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer and we need to amputate his leg. This is hard for us as we love him so much even though we have only had him a year 1/2. We go through Mooresville Animal Hospital for our Vet, but he will be having his surgery at All Pet Low Cost Surgery Center.

We are strapped for the cash that will cost quite a bit, he has used all of his CareCredit and we want to get this done as soon as we can so the cancer does not have the opportunity to spread. We know that even with one leg, that gives him a good change to be with us longer.
