About this campaign
My little King is a college baby. His previous owner got him when she was still in college. When she graduated and started working full-time he was left alone more often by himself. That’s when he was brought to me. The first time we met he was full of kisses and playful ,so happy to be around us. King is protective , loving and caring even with the other little doggie that I have.
King is always on schedule he knows when it’s time for breakfast lunch and dinner and when it’s time to go to bed. When he wants something he comes to me and grunts as if he is talking. He loves his doggy treats especially doggy bones, he even loves my other doggy “s bone. At the end of the day going to bed on time laying on his back and snoring. Just listening to his snores relaxes me.
This is an unplanned very sudden major medical expense. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to save money for unexpected emergency expenses. I love my little guy so much , he’s my furry baby. He looks to me for care and protection and that’s what I’m going to do.
Every once in a while I would feel little bumps on him but the vet explains that they are normal. But one day I felt a lump on his chest it did not feel like the other bumps. After a doctors visit and cytology testing Dr Alicia at StL Veterinary Ctr expressed concern that the lab test shows some suspicious cells (cancer cells) and the best thing would be to remove the mass.
When I ask King for a hug, 50% of the time he turns around and takeoff running only to bring his toy to me so that we can play fetch. He loves to get his hair brushed it’s the best massage in the world for him. He shows me his biggest smile and I love it. He is a happy little dog. If he sees me sad he always comes to me and licked my face it’s his way of loving me and showing that he cares.
