About this campaign

I have been fostering and helping rescue dogs for about 3 years now, and Kiora came to us on September 27th of this year, which happened to be her 1st birthday. Her owner couldn’t care for her anymore due to the extent of her health conditions and the cost of them. Our vet has referred her to Advanced Internal Medicine for Pets, which is where she will go once we have the funding to take her.

Kiora loves to cuddle up and sleep with us as much as she can. She would live in my lap if she could. She had a special spot on the couch where she lays, the pillow is dented in from her sleeping there so much. She is very vocal and loves to tell me all about her day.

Kiora absolutely loves to roll around on the floor and on the couch! She has this little squeaky toy that she loves, and when she plays with it she holds it in her mouth, rolls on her back, and grabs it with her two front paws and wiggles back and forth on her back. She also loves to play “tag” with her big brother Mishra!

Kiora is suffering from an unknown issue that has to do with her intestinal tract. She is bleeding profusely from her butt, and it is getting worse. She needs to be taken to an emergency vet clinic as soon as possible. I have called every clinic near me and they will not see her unless we have the money. Our vet has ruled out everything she can. Kiora needs an internal med vet to check her out.

My family and I are on a fixed income and have been declined CareCredit. We do not have any extra money to get Kiora to the emergency med vet. I have called every vet crying trying to get her seen and they will not help us unless we have the money.
