He is lethargic, struggling with a low hematocrit (HCT = 16%), and showing signs of being hyperlexic. His body is weak, but his spirit is still fighting.

Baw Baw rushed Kit to the hospital, where the veterinary team started crucial immediate care. The kitty requires surgery to repair his fractured jaw and an esophagostomy tube to ensure he can eat and heal. His anemia needs to be addressed before we can move forward with these life-saving procedures, and he is under constant care, receiving intravenous antibiotics and daily wound dressings.
