Kit is a 1 month old Ragdoll in Greenwood, IN, who needs $2,000 for Portosystemic Shunt Corrective Surgery.

We recently purchased Kit from a ragdoll breeder in New Castle, IN. When I went to pick him up, he seemed very tired and slept all the way home. When we got him home he was still very what seemed to be lethargic. I reached out to the breeder and she assured me that he was fine and that he had “played hard” early that day.

Fast forward to the late afternoon, Kit had his first seizure with us and we immediately took him to the Noah Emergency Vet on the southside of Indianapolis. There he was diagnosed as having a portosystemic shunt.

Kit has made a huge impact on our family. Has brought us all closer together. I’ve seen more of my adult children since we got him than I have in three months!

As with any unsuspecting financial situation, we definitely do not have the extra money for this type of surgery but don’t want to lose this little boy!
