About this campaign

Kit Kat showed up on our doorstep in October of 2022, on a night that was -13°
Not wanting to find her as a three legged kittysicle the next morning, we took her in.
We worked for a couple months to try and find her original home, but we were never able to, and instead she found a new home with us.

The vet is looking into the root cause her situation now, but fluid build up on her lungs is causing her to have extreme difficulty breathing. The vet thinks it’s either heart disease or cancer

KitKat is the most dog of a cat I’ve ever met. She is exceptionally cuddly, will roll over and ask for belly rubs, and has been more patient with our 3 and 4 year old daughters than I ever thought an animal could be

She likes long walks on the windowsill, and dancing in the pane

We’ve sought outside help like veterinary assistance vouchers and used our own personal funds, but the expense has already gone over $1000, and is expected to reach up to $2000 or beyond.
We would do anything for her, but we don’t have the emergency funds to cover it
