I adopted kitten from the Humane Society.

We’ve been through a lot together, including multiple moves within Washington and Oregon.

She has never minded being in the car, and I even used to take her for walks. Now she’s an indoor cat and has been for the last few years.

She is on Lantus insulin injections, twice a day. I monitor her glucose with tests all throughout the day.

I learned that inflammation and dental issues can make diabetes worse in cats. I need to get her teeth cleaned, very badly, through the Des Moines Veterinary Hospital.

Kitten has a missing back leg. And that has never stopped her from adventuring. She’s definitely a tree dweller, loves to be outside, and is always the alpha cat in the Neighborhood.
The last few years, she is an indoor cat. She chases her tail like crazy, loves paper and cardboard, loves to run around in the bathtub, and cuddles even the baby.

After having my first baby last year, and taking time off work to take care of her, I am in a bad financial situation. At the end of my pregnancy, I spent all the money I had on emergency vet visits, diagnostic testing, medicines, test testing supplies, and low carb food.
