About this campaign

Every day, the phone rings with another animal in need. Every day, Teresa's Cat and Dog Rescue is faced with another heartbreaking decision.

They keep saying "yes."

But they can't keep doing it alone.

This kitten season has been one of the hardest the rescue has ever experienced. They are caring for vulnerable kittens, including some that are still very feral and require extra time, patience, and specialized care before they'll ever know the comfort of a loving home.

Then, without warning, someone abandoned a frightened mama cat and her three babies right on the rescue's doorstep.

As if that wasn't enough, another mama cat gave birth at the rescue, welcoming five beautiful kittens into the world.

With every new arrival, the rescue's food costs, supply needs, and veterinary bills continue to grow. What started as an already difficult kitten season has quickly become overwhelming.

The costs are staggering.

A single growing kitten can eat two to three cans of wet food every day. As more kittens arrive, the amount of food needed grows just as quickly. Then come the veterinary bills, including wellness exams, vaccinations, deworming, medications, emergency care, and eventually spay and neuter surgeries for every kitten when they are old enough.

On top of kitten season, the rescue is already carrying significant veterinary expenses for the many animals currently in their care. Every new arrival means more medical bills, more supplies, and more lives relying on a small rescue that refuses to turn animals away simply because funds are low.

Today, Teresa's Cat and Dog Rescue is asking for your help.

Your donation will help provide:

\\- Veterinary care for kittens, cats, and dogs - Wet food and kitten food for growing babies - Formula and supplies for young kittens when needed - Vaccinations and routine medical care - Spay and neuter surgeries - Care and socialization for feral kittens - Food and daily care for every animal at the rescue

Every dollar helps.

Every donation gives Teresa's Cat and Dog Rescue the ability to answer the next call for help instead of having to turn an animal away.

If you have ever wanted to make a difference in the life of a homeless animal, this is your chance. Together, we can turn a season of overwhelming need into a season of hope, healing, and second chances.

7/4/26 Update: We Need Help To Help These Kittens

The good news is that their mom has been safely trapped, spayed, and returned to her outdoor home, helping prevent even more kittens from being born.

Now our focus is on these little ones. They're growing like weeds, which means they're eating more every day and will soon need their vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries. The costs add up quickly, and we simply can't do it alone.

Kitten season is here, and as a newer rescue that just celebrated our first year as a 501(c)(3), we're still building the resources needed to keep up with the overwhelming demand for lifesaving veterinary care.

We're asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide these kittens with the medical care they need to grow up healthy and gives us the ability to continue saying "yes" to animals who have nowhere else to turn.

7/12/26 Update: we need help to help these kittens

As the kittens are getting older, we are scheduling their spay/neuter appointments. however because of all the shots and vet visits we have done funding is a issue to pay for these poor babies to get their spay and neuter appointments. we have had more kittens and 3 abandoned dogs (one being a 5 week old puppy) join the rescue, this has caused a huge issue with the vet bills and our funding we are struggling with keeping up with the vet bills and food for everyone. to put it simply we need help to be able to help these poor babies. please if you can help we would greatly appreciate it if not we also understand and ask that you please share our plea.

7/19/26 Update: these babies need to get fixed
