Kitty is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in Countryside, IL, who needs $2,000 for Dental Work and Labs.

My cat was found when he was around 2 months old, living on the street. My aunt and I took him in and named him Kitty. He's been with us for 12 years and is just the king of the house! Needless to say, he's spoiled (in the best way possible) and he tends to get his way when it comes to food and whatever he wants.

Lately, Kitty has been losing weight to the point where we can feel his spine and hips. He has a much larger appetite and tends to drink more water than usual. Yesterday (Jan. 24, 20205) I took him to the Countryside Veterinary Center for a check up. The doctor there said he may have hyperthyroidism but he needed blood work done. I can not afford the blood work and after care at the moment.

Kitty is my best friend. I've recently went through treatment for cancer and he was right at my side through the entire ordeal. He made it easier to get up and handle the days when I was at my worse. He never fails to make me laugh and he's always there when I need a cuddle.

While I do work, I'm still trying to catch up with my own finances after a year and a half of treatment for cancer (which I still need regular testing for). I just can not afford high vet bills and this is the first time that Kitty has ever needed any help.
