Kitty is a 14-year-old Maine Coon in Fort worth, TX, who needs $600 for a tooth extraction.

This is such a funny story. I don't like cats. I have always been afraid of them. I always had the cat bat at me or hiss so they scared me. About 5 years ago a neighbor of ours moved out of their apartment and he left the cat.... My husband is the animal whisperer. He started to feed the cat on the front porch. Eventually he started letting Kitty in the apartment.

This cat eats and eats dry and wet. He like to lay down on whatever that you have next to you: phone, remote, mail, dinner plate. It doesn't matter, he claims it. He will walk almost under your feet until you agree to feed him. I have almost fallen so many times. He also love all his buddies. We have three weenie dogs that love this cat. My Ally gives the cat kisses all the time.

I am on unemployment. I don't want to have to put him to sleep. The vet gave meds and I am hoping someone can help me save my kitty. I am in my 1st semester of nursing school and don't want to lose my buddy. I love this cat. I want to try and save him. Please ❤

Kitty has been really healthy the entire five years we have had him. Until about 5 months ago he started shaking his head after he would eat. Like he was trying to get something out. My husband said it was a tooth but I wasn't sure because he didn't do it every time. I ended up taking him to the vet and the he said he had bad mouth and gave him antibiotic shot. It worked! Now bad tooth infection.

He will sleep on my head. I don't want the cat to get near me with his paws (claws) and he insists on touching me. I will move away and he will stretch out. He loves to literally sleep on my head. We will go to sleep and we will have to fight the cat in the middle of the night because he doesn't take no for an answer. That's why we love him so much.
