About this campaign

I adopted Kiwi four years ago from a cat rescuer in Brooklyn. He currently lives with me and my two roommates and has the luck of the land with two big windows to watch birds and squirrels all day.

Kiwi chronically vomits, even after switching to hydrolyzed wet and dry cat food. His vet wants to perform an ultrasound And gastrointestinal bloodwork to determine any possible issues that could ideally be healed. He also has a lot of wax buildup in his ear that could be an infection and is having difficulty losing weight, though he is on a diet.

Everyone who meets Kiwi says he’s unlike any cat they’ve ever met and that they are obsessed with him. He loves meeting new people (probably because he loves pets, playtime, and all the attention to be on him) and is the true life of the party. He is goofy, playful, and affectionate (on his own terms). His favorite hobbies include kneading, birdwatching, and playing fetch with sparkle balls.

I was unemployed for 8 months last year and am now at a job where I’m scraping by. I work side gigs to make ends meet (buy groceries, pay rent, etc.) and would sincerely appreciate any support you can give to help me improve Kiwi’s health. He means everything to me.
