About this campaign
I'm Julie. I'm actually Kizaru's Grammy. He & my son, Wyatt, live at my home with me. Wyatt was raised in homes with dogs & he's always dreamed of having a pupper of his own. He recently started searching for his perfect companion. Wyatt's Dad had adopted Kizaru's littermate & connected Wyatt with the breeder. Wyatt brought him home & they've been inseparable best friends.
Saturday at 6:45 AM I was told that Wyatt & Kizaru had just been in an accident. I got in the ambulance to see Wyatt barely conscious. I touched his face & spoke to him. He said 1 word, "Kizaru". In that second my heart swore to do anything to see them reunited & whole. Wyatt has been in ICU since. Kizaru has a dislocated hip. Dr. Bettin at Lakeview Vet Svcs will perform surgery to save his leg.
Wyatt & Kizaru have a large circle of friends, all with their own dogs. Kizaru is pals with them all, big or small. He's outgoing & affectionate, giving hugs & burying his face in your neck. He loves car rides, playing fetch, chewing his antlers & watching animals on TV. He is clever & easily catches on to training but is also hilariously clumsy & full of energy. He's definitely still a puppy!
Kizaru hip dislocation requires surgery. We feel it's only fair to attempt to save his leg for the best quality of life. With Wyatt's medical expenses & missed time from work, covering everything would be impossible so I'm asking for help to cover Kizaru's procedure costs.
