Klaus is a 4 year old rescued feral cat. We found him with his siblings on 4th of July just as tiny kittens. He was afraid of life. It took him awhile to trust us, and know we would love and protect him. He is now 4, and an integral part of our family. He has 4 other kitty siblings, and 3 of my own children who love him immensely. He is a strictly indoor cat and loves to snuggle.

Yesterday, Klaus started hissing and growling at everything and everyone. He crawled into my daughters lap, and continued to scream, and growl and hiss non stop. My daughter called her friend who's dad is a vet, and he asked her to touch his stomach- he flipped out. He told my daughter to take him in immediately. Upon arrival to the emergency vet- my daughter was told he was going to die.

Klaus is my daughters emotional support cat. He literally calms her, and provides security for her. He knows when she is upset, or lonely or just needs attention. He will wait for her, follow her and lay with her. He is a character. He loves attention (in his own time). He purrs like a motor from an old car <3

I am a disabled Navy Veteran. I live paycheck to paycheck to provide for my kids. I love helping animals, and in the last couple years have saved over 30 cats and have gotten them neutered/spayed and into loving, wonderful homes. This expense will be unimaginable to recover
