Klaus is a 4 year old Maine Coon in Hurricane, WV, who needs $300 for Sick Visit/Bloodwork/Meds.

Klaus Fletcher came into my life as a gift. He was a tiny little baby at only 8 weeks old, he had been fostered with his mommy, Vividly Pink, through a local animal shelter and he was the only kitten they had available at the time. My supervisor at the time had promised to adopt me my next fur baby once my husband agreed on it and it took two months to convince him.

Klaus is part MainCoone and has always been a little different and he recently, within the last year, has started acting even more strange. First, during the winter he began burning himself in a fire we use to heat our home. He started falling off everything, and now he is losing weight very quickly and acting like he is starved and thirsty all the time. He also pees on every thing including me.

Klaus is special because he is almost more like a dog in ways, he will come if you call him and always has. He is one of my children and I desperately need to find out what is going on with him and I know he is going to need testing done to find out and I know how expensive that can be. If the vet tells me that he has cancer or something that is making him suffer I do not want that, but if he needs, meds we will get them.

I have a job but my job basically keeps us all fed and taken care of as best as I can. I need help with Klaus though. I want him to be better and if we can help him that’s what I want!
