Kloe is a 18-month-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Meridian, MS, who needs $400 for Tail Amputation and Neuter.

In May of 2022 , a friend told me about a very young kitten found alone in an abandoned car. The kitten needed a home. I told her to try to find someone better than me. A few days later I picked the kitten up. The first thing I noticed was the worried look. His tiny body was covered in fleas but I held him close bc he was loved now. No matter what. I named him Kloe bc I thought he was a girl.

I'm not a top choice for a pet owner. I struggle financially a good bit. I can keep a cat fed. I talk to him about everything and I know he knows he is loved. I took Kloe to the vet the next day and got his flea treatment, and he was bloated with parasites. Kloe wasnt as playful as kittens his age. He was distrustful and just seemed like he missed somebody.

I took him everywhere with me. He rode in my purse when I went in a store, ducking down when he saw someone. I had a fuzzy blue pillow that Kloe really took to. I noticed that he was rooting frantically on the pillow. When he couldn't find anything to latch onto he stopped, hung his little head real low and let out a long, sad sigh. That touched my heart deeply. I put the pillow away.

Even people that don't really care for cats love Kloe. He is calm and cool. He doesn't join in the excitement with m other pets at mealtime. He keeps his dignity. Over 3 weeks ago Kloe was hit by a car. Poplar Springs Vetinary Clinic says Kloe needs his tail amputated. He needs to be spayed as well. The total $453.87

I would sell my car and walk if it was worth $453. Kloe has been in agony over 3 weeks now. He's just a little boy and deserves a long happy life. My prayers and my pleas are for help for him. The ladies at the vet clinic even commented on what a good boy he is. Please.
