About this campaign
Hi everyone,
My name is Jordan De Leon and I’m a full-time firefighter. My wife is a dedicated teacher, and we’re excitedly expecting our first baby in June 2026. Life has been full of beautiful changes, but also some unexpected challenges.
Just two days ago, our beloved 1-year-old Doberman our happy, goofy, and incredibly loving companion had to undergo an emergency surgery. It came out of nowhere, and while we’re beyond grateful that the surgery was successful, the medical bills have placed a heavy financial burden on us, especially with a baby on the way.
Our Doberman isn’t just a pet, he’s family. He brings joy, comfort, and laughter into our lives every single day. He’s the kind of dog who greets you like it’s the best moment of his life every time you walk through the door. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, or keeping us company after a long shift or workday, he’s a constant light in our lives.
We’ve always worked hard to provide for our little family, but this unexpected expense has hit us hard. Between preparing for our newborn and this emergency, we’re stretched thin. That’s why we’re humbly reaching out to ask for help.
Every donation no matter how small will go directly toward covering the cost of our pup’s surgery, medications, and follow-up care.
If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing our story with others means the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your kindness, your support, and your love for animals like ours. Happy Holidays.
With love and thanks,
Jordan, Stephanie and Koa 🐶
