Kobe is a 11-month-old German Shepherd in Clayton , NC, who needs $500 for Full Examination with Sedation - X-rays, Labs.

Kobe came into our life in November of 2022 as a sweet little pup! My son was gifted this precious boy from his father, and they’ve been best friends since! He will be celebrating his first birthday on September 25th. He was exactly what my son needed being an only child, Kobe brings him smiles each and every day and a companion to play with!

Kobe loves sleeping at the foot of the bed, or sometimes snuggles with Kameron! He loves to go on walks and to play fetch. Fetch is his absolute favorite, although he loves to tease and sometimes run when you reach for the ball back. :)

Kobe loves all treats! He loves to practice training skills to earn treats, especially sitting and lay. Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, and he even knows what his bark box mail looks like and to expect new toys and treats!

Kobe is currently experiencing pain in his jaw area, preventing him from opening his mouth fully. Any touch or opening of the mouth to wide causes him to cry out in pain. The provider is thinking he may have masticatory muscle myositis. It hurts my son and I to see him in pain, and no interest in playing due to this. He’s always been such an active boy! PetFolk has been amazing with us!

Unfortunately, at this time I do not have any form of Emergency Fund and the expenses for Kobe to be examined further are much more than I can afford. In my home it’s just me and my son, and with rising rent and just overall cost of living things have been financially hard.
