Kobe is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Davenport, FL, who needs $1,200 for Removal of a 5-10cm Mass on His Belly.

What we know about Kobe - Kobe was rescued from the shelter and then given away to a friend. That friend at some point decided he didn’t want him anymore and let him loose. He was rescued by OCAS and spent 110 days in shelter before we rescued him. He’s an 8yr old American Pitbull Terrier Mix and an absolutely LoveBug. He’s had many medical challenges, and surely more to come.

Kobe was rescued as Heartworm+, we put him through the grueling medication and is now Heartworm Free! Regrettably, he now has Hemangiosarcoma (dermal). He’s had several blood “blisters” come up and has had a few removed. We are now needing help to remove the lump on his belly.

Kobe is the such a silly big baby, though he’s 8. He’s a total mommas boy and protects me to no end. He’s playful but when it’s time for business, he doesn’t play around. We fell in love with Kobe and he was home within 24hrs. Kobe has endured so much in his short 8yrs and I’m just trying to give him an amazing rest of his life.

Everyone is struggling in today’s economy, we are not ignorant to that fact. We’ve handled other medical issues as they arise, but hoping for some help with this new diagnosis.
