Kobe is a 14-year-old Shih Tzu in Montgomery , AL, who needs $420 for Exam, Vaccines, Dental Cleaning, and Grooming.

When Kobe came into our life he was six weeks old and the smallest of the litter. He weighed only half a pound and would only lay in my husband’s pants to and watch animal planet to feel safe. He has truly been the light of our family. Kobe has been helped us through some many tough things throughout our family and we are really struggling financially right now.

Our daughter has Down syndrome, and a few years ago she had a stroke and had to have a few blood vessels repaired in her brain, when we returned home with her he stayed by her side and no one was allowed to get near her that he did not know. When my husband returned from his last tour from Iraq Kobe knew something was different with him (he suffers from PTSD) he follows him always he so lovable.

Kobe is just lovable, he was just do something and you will go what are you doing, and he stares at you like you are wrong for staring at him asking what are you doing. If he is looking out of the front door and a bird comes by he will jump up like he is bad but if you open that door he is going to run and hide underneath someone’s bed and peak to see when you close the door again.

Kobe is in need of grooming, mail clipping, teeth cleaning, and shots. It’s been over a year and this has been a horrible year for our family financially and every time we think we are about to get back on our feet something else knocks us back down. We can see that he is miserable and we have tried to trim him our selves but he need a professional.

We had to replace a roof and windows, I lost my PhD funding so I had to start paying out of pocket and job changes making less has forced us to put things on the back burner. We want our pet healthy again to see that bright light in his eye again.
