Our blended family always wanted a dog to complete our family but we live in a town home so we could not adopt a large dog and it’s rare to find a small dog for adoption .. Kobe and his siblings were going to be donated to a shelter by a friends niece who could care for them all .. we of course met the puppies and fell in love ... we found each pup a forever home 🏡 thru family and friends .

Kobe loves to people watch out our front window & is a good guard pup he knows when bed time is he goes into his bed and goes to sleep until I’m ready to go upstairs to the bedroom at that point I tell him “want to go nite nite “? He rolls on his back & puts his paws up for me to carry him I place him in his bed and he sleeps the night until 6 am then huffs to be picked up to snuggle with me

I live pay check to paycheck.. taking in this little joy I didn’t expect for him to have such a hefty expense at such a young age but of course I would do anything to save his precious life

Upon One of Kobe’s first vet visits for vaccinations we got the news of a possible threat to our boys life he was diagnosed with PDA (patent ductus arteriosis) a hole in his heart that didn’t close after he was born. Without treatment he would not see his first birthday. He was the runt of the litter and I would do everything I could to save his life

Kobe may be the runt of the litter but he is so smart .. when playing fetch (his favorite game) when he brings you his toy if you don’t respond fast enough he will take your finger in his mouth and guide you over to his toy to remind u to throw it again lol he loves when everyone comes hone from work and school so he can play
