Kobe is a 3-year-old Pitbull in Union, NJ, who needs $2,000 for TTA Surgery.

In 2020 we lost our 15 year old Yorkie to seizures. We were devastated and thought we would never be ready for another pet. But almost immediately we felt empty. So we applied to rescues all over and a rescue in San Antonio got back to us with a baby pic of Kobe. We immediately said yes! And they drove him from Texas to New Jersey. He's been in our lives since May 2020.

He has quickly stolen our hearts. My son moved away in 2020 and we joke that Kobe is my new son replacement. My husband and I are completely obsessed with him and we literally plan everything we do around him and what he loves.

He is the bestest lovable dog. Our building calls him the mayor. He's such a people please and loves loves small dogs. He's afraid of dogs his own size lol he loves stuffed animals and sleeping with one of my shoes. He never barks unless he wants to play even then it comes with a side eye and a cute little bark. He's truly a gentle giant

Kobe is only 3 and in 3 years we have had double arthroscopic elbow surgery, lots of physical therapy, water therapy, acupuncture, we use ramps and stairs and in June 2023 we had CCL TTA surgery on his left leg. He has since healed amazingly on the surgical leg and just blew out his right knee. We can not afford a 4th surgery right after the third. Please help

Being able to afford this surgery would be take off a huge burden. In 2 years with 3 surgeries and therapy we have spent 16k. We do not have the additional 7k for the last limb.
