About this campaign

I rescued Kobe 4 years ago from the humane society. I was just going to look at they told me there was a kitten that was really sick and alone. I met Kobe, nursed him back to health with the medicine they provided and he's been with me for 4 years. His Birthday is January 31st, and mine is the January 21st so it connected me to him instantly. He is well taken care of and loved on a lot.

It seems like Kobes respiratory problems he had as a baby have come back in a devastating way. As of yesterday 1.26.25 Kobe has been having difficulty breathing. Since yesterday morning. I've been up since yesterday morning comforting and watching him. He won't let me out of his sight as he struggles to breath and I'm not ketting him out of mine. I can't afford veterinary care right now.

Kobe is special to me because I got him during a period of covid quarantine. So we were locked in together from day one, literally and figuratively. He's a support animal for me in many ways. I lost my father to covid and recently my mother to cologne cancer and Kobe is the only real family I have here in NC. He's my baby. My son. Watching him suffer is destroying me.

It would mean the world to me if you could see the love I have for Kobe. His pictures are only a small percentage of the adorableness he exudes throughout the home. I am currently working part time and barely keeping up with rent, car notes and other expenses
