Koby is a 5 year old English Bulldog in Eight Mile, AL, who needs $1,965 for Cherry Eye Surgical Revision.

I rehomed Koby as I searched for emotion support. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and since then he’s been my BFF. He gets a little wild when he plays so I started calling him Wildboy KJ. His favorite toy is rubber ducks. He kicks it under the couch then barks at me to get out for him and he does it about 20 times a day lol.

Koby had cherry eye. I trusted the new vet to performed surgery. The surgery failed and since his eye has been worsen. After discussions the ophthalmologist, I found that the vet performed the procedure in error. His eye has a cyst and fluid filled covering his eye. It prevents him to see, causes pain, & recurring infections. The ophthalmologist says a revision is needed to correct the problem.

Koby has been a family member for 5 years now. We don’t see a dog, he is one of the boys. He likes for them to tickle him, it’s the cutest ever. He is definitely my shadow.

I started having recurrent strokes and lost my job. I became disabled, on a fixed income, and can’t afford extra expenses. I consider surrendering him but I need my boy more now than before. I cry every time I think about it, it’s just not fair.
