Koda is a 5 year old Samoyed in Crowley, TX, who needs $7,000 for Cataract Surgery- Cryopexy.

Hi. I am writing about my daughter Jodys' dog named Koda. She got Koda when she was a little puppy and it was her dream. She had always wanted a Samoyed as they are such smart, loving and people oriented dogs. Koda has been Jody's life for 5 years now. I can't imagine them apart.

Koda has now developed cataracts and can not see. She is totally blind.It happened so fast . Jody can not pay for another surgery and continue paying off all the loans from others that she got to save Koda at hospital. $14, 000 is a huge amount today and now it will be another 7000

Koda has always been a healthy dog with no issues. She loves people. She cuddles and is devoted to Jody. . Jody took her to Vet and found her to be very ill. She has pancreatitis, had diabetes , anemia, urinary and uterine infections. She needed surgery to have uterus removed and required stay at vets for almost 2 weeks. The vet bill rose to over $14,000.

Koda finally got to go home slowly improving. All of the sudden in past week she started losing her vision. The vet refferred her to a specialist as she needs cataract Surgery to get her vision back and enjoy life. The surgery will be almost 7000. Jody will never afford that
