About this campaign
I saw Koda on Facebook and instantly fell in love. His coat reminded me of my childhood dog that passed away years prior so my heart skipped a beat when I saw his and his siblings add. He was only $100 but is already worth his weight in gold at just 6 months old. I had never had a puppy before so I was excited to have the chance to raise a pup of my own!!
Koda loves tortillas, noodles, and treats. We are still working on his “take nice” skills. He loves talking when he wants something like go outside, food, treats, even just attention! Koda’s favorite thing to do is take bathed and wrestle with his older brother, our rescue Aussie.
Koda also really enjoys relaxing on the couch with his daddy, my husband.
I am currently out of a job and on unemployment now due to the Corona Virus. The additional $600 federal has expired and I’m barely getting enough for food and bills.
The beginning of July, Koda had his first seizure episode. At first I had thought maybe it was because I was dumb and gave him a hose bath on a hot day.. then a week and a half later Koda had a second seizure!
I brought him to our vet the next business day and they are concerned about a possible Liver Shunt but would need the tests to confirm it. I was not able to pay for it and took him home.
Even though he’s a different breed, he reminds me so much of my childhood dog Brother Bear. That’s even why I gave him the name Koda in the first place ❤️❤️
Koda means a whole lot to me, he is my first pup and has sewn his place into our family. Needless to say not only will my husband and I be devastated if we lost him, but our other pets and family members would be effected too.
