Koda is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Decatur, AL, who needs $1,500 for Treatment for Pancreatitis.

When my husband and I first moved to Alabama we wanted our first dog together. We met someone who had just had a litter of puppies and Koda was the runt of the litter. We instantly fell in love with him and he quickly fit into our lives. Koda has always been timid of the outside but is very rambunctious inside!

We took Koda to Vetco in Decatur for an ear infection. He began to throw up 5 days later and has not been able to eat/drink or hold anything down. Went back to Vetco who believed he might have pancreatitis. Gave us meds to stop vomiting, he started to drink water and hold it down but no food. He hasnt eaten in 4 days. HSVE is now treating him for pancreatitis as an outpatient.

Koda is extremely special because out of the 3 dogs we have (Moose and Kevin) Koda loves to sing and he starts what I like to call "the orchestra" so when he howls, Moose and Kevin want to howl too even though they don't normally. Koda is very playful and loves to play fetch. Koda is also dramatic just like most Huskys are and he is so so smart!

Every vet visit has added up very quickly. We have already paid $2200 for the vet visits and it might not stop there. But we need help. Life has hit us hard financially, I lost my car, our AC is broken. All our money is going to our boy Koda. Help would be a huge relief!
