About this campaign
Koda lives with me and my fiancé Cade, as well as two cats (who he loves to play with). He came from the farm life and now lives in a home in Manchester, MD. He was born on Christmas Eve and is 6 months old currently.
Our vet did an x-ray when Koda came in with symptoms of discomfort and discovered air outside of his lungs that are pressing in on them. He has undergone a chest tap and is currently hospitalized to have tubes placed in his chest and a CT scan to try to solve where the air is coming from. He is currently being treated at the Pet ER in Hunt Valley, MD.
Koda was a burst of energy before he began struggling to breathe. He is shy, but he is friendly and will give everyone a little kiss on their hand. He is special to us because he had the same name and almost the same birthday as my fiancé- it felt like a sign. He is still a baby and was still learning how to play gently with his kitty siblings.
My fiancé and I have just bought a house and don’t have the funds to cover outright what the procedures will cost, but Koda has barely had a chance to live a life. We would do anything to help him and make sure he is comfortable. Any donations would help us so much.
