Help Needed for Sweet Pup Facing Kidney Dysplasia

Koda is a very special 2.5-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. He came to Barrk after being surrendered when his previous owner learned he had been purchased from a backyard breeder and wasn’t properly bred. As a result, Koda has kidney dysplasia, a condition that requires ongoing care.

Koda has been with BARRK since April 2025. He is currently on a prescription kidney diet and will need to stay on this food for life, along with routine bloodwork to keep an eye on his health and ensure he’s staying stable.

While Koda may need a little extra care, in return, he will be the most loving companion who will bring joy to his forever family.

And BARRK will never give up on Koda!
