Koda is a 6-year-old Great Dane in West Covina, CA, who needs $2,000 for CT scan, x-ray, consultation fee, and biopsy .

Koda was a wedding gift to me from my husband. He's been with us since he was 6 months old he is now 6 years old and is a huge part of our lives. He is my baby my best friend and has been through everything with us. He has always been there for me through my ups and downs and now I want to do the same, we want more time with our sweet baby boy he still has so much life left to live.

Koda is a couch potato! He loves his giant bed and spends most of his time snoozing and watching The Office with me. Koda loves everyone he meets and loves his canine sister Kami. He is a sweet loving boy and loves cuddles, kisses and love playing with dad and grandpa in the backyard. Koda loves being with his humans and wants to be with us all the time.

My husband is laid off work and I am temporarily laid off work due to the covid-19 pandemic we are currently only receiving unemployment. With our very low income we cannot afford Koda's vet bills but want to help him as best we can.

Koda was seen by his vet Dr. Medina from Amar Glen Animal Hospital on 09/18/20 after which he suspected osteosarcoma. Koda has an appointment to see an oncologist Dr. Vinayak at VCA West Coast Specialty Animal Hospital for a diagnosis and Koda will have a few tests done and talk to the vet for an action plan afterward.

Koda is not like another dog I've had before he's super lovable and still acts like a puppy and wants all the attention and love. Koda has such a great personality he's laid back but also loves meeting new people with a bear hug. He has helped me through my own surgery by helping me out of bed, he was always by my side after my surgery and I'm so thankful for him.
