Koda is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Wolverine Lake, MI, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy Treaments.

Koda is an 8 year old Boxer mix. She was born in 2016, and we adopted her from a foster, in Nov. of that year. My husband was dealing with a major depressive episode, at that time, and we needed anything that could bring him out of it. She chose us though. From day one, she has always been ready to play, and wrestle around. Which is a good thing, because we lead an active lifestyle.

On April 30th, Koda had a sizeable mass removed from her mammary glands. Our vet was able to remove the mass with good margins and also removed two of her teats.
The mass was sent out for biopsy, and the histopathology report came back as stage 3 Mammary Gland Carcinoma. We have received estimates from the Animal Cancer and Imaging Center, in Canton, MI. (We live between Detroit & Ann Arbor)

She loves going on adventures and has gone on several hiking and waterfall site seeing trips. She loves her kitties, and her people. She loves meeting new people, and is the bestest girl!! We do not have any human kids, and she is our fur baby. She taught herself at an early age to be an emotional support dog. Although, we never got her registered.

Single income family due to mental health issues. Primary income person is also going to school part time. Savings has been drained due to the surgery to remove the mass.
