Kodak is a 6-year-old Short hair in Elgin, TX, who needs $550 for follow up.

Kodak is a rescue pet. She was ran over and we found her on the side of the road. When we picked her up, we noticed she was injured with a broken leg. Kodak was welcomed into our home by my significant other, my 3 girls, our 4 hamsters and myself. The name Kodak was agreed upon by my 3 girls. Kodak is 7 weeks old.

Because she is still a baby, she sleeps a lot. She has her own little bed she sleeps in and gets comfortable when she ready to sleep. Due to her injury, she struggles to move around but still manages to try to get to where she is going. She loves to be rubbed on her head and she loves to be cuddled. She likes to get comfortable right under the chin area.

Due to her being a rescue cat, we don’t have the financial means to cover continuation of care. We recently moved in to a new place and are trying to get settled financially especially with 3 girls. A jump start on helping to get her well is definitely needed & appreciated

We found Kodak on the side of the road injured. She was ran over by a vehicle and has an injured leg. After vet examination, they found that she has nerve damage in her leg and has no feeling in that leg. She will need to have her little leg amputated once she is a little older within the next 2 weeks or so. She also has a soft heart murmur and needs vaccinations as well.

Kodak is special because she came into our life unexpectedly. Although she is a rescue cat, we like to call her a special cat. Special because survived and was rescued. She is special because she is sweet she still a little baby. Kodak is special because she brought more joy into our house hold and had brought out a soft spot from all of us including my significant other.
