Kodi is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Akron, OH, who needs $2,567 for TTA (Tibial Tuberosity Advancement)).

Kodi has been in my life since he was born. He was purchased from a friend of my mind who had bred his dog. Kodi and I live in an apartment as I am a gradauate student for a masters in clinical psychology. There were many puppies in his litter but he was the first one to run to me and stay with me.

Kodi recently had x-rays which showed he has a dislocating kneecap in the right rear leg and damage to his left anterior ligament in the left knee. It also showed mild hip dysplasia in his left hip. Kodi is in need of a TPLO surgery. We are scheduled for a surgery this Friday, the 27th with Lorain Animal Clinic.

I got Kodi to be my emotional support animal as I moved into my first apartment. Kodi loves to cuddle and is the friendliest dog I have ever seen or met. Kodi loves going on walks to meet and to be petted by anyone he sees. As tough as he looks, he is the biggest scaredy cat. Kodi loves receiving new toys and being wrapped in blankets.

I am a 21-year-old grad student who's paying off a car, rent, and tuition. This was a very unexpected accident from Kodi, who was enjoying time playing in the snow, to now not even being able to have zoomies. It has been difficult to keep an energetic dog still and in bed.
