About this campaign
On Saturday, 9/11/2021, our sweet Kodi started to act different than his normal self. Out of concern, his family rushed him to the emergency vet where he received a pancreatitis diagnosis. During a follow up visit, Kodi was given X-Rays. These X-Rays showed a foreign object in his GI tract. Kodi has fallen very ill and he must have surgery to get through this. Any donation would help tremendously.
Kodi is seen in the community as a vibrant little pup. He joins his family throughout central Alabama to bring smiles to the customers of 4129 DropSauce. He loves children and loves bigger dogs even more. He thinks he is a Rottweiler and not a 5lb yorkie! His spunk and energy causes everyone to fall in love with him. He’s his happiest taking naps in the crook of someone’s back.
Kodi has been an extremely bright light in our lives. He came into a broken household and healed so much pain within. He has aided in his owner’s struggles with battling mental illness and has helped support their treatment.
Kodi has always been a healthy, well cared for puppy. At only 8 months old, he has fallen very ill from ingesting a foreign object. He is currently under the care of Hueytown Veterinary Clinic and previously spent time at Steel City Emergency Clinic. Staff at HVC have predicted that Kodi will have to undergo surgery to return to normal.
Kodi is a fearless pup. He loves watching fireworks, action movies, and spinning in circles with his mom. When he gets bored he’s sure to let you know. He turns from a puppy into a 13 year old teen. His howls can be heard throughout the house whenever he gets excited. If his tail could wag any faster on his body, he would levitate off the floor.
