When I tell people that Kohen is a rescue animal they automatically assume that I rescued him!To the contrary he rescued me!It remind me of the story of Moses when he was telling God how he wasnt fit to do what The Almighty wanted him to do.See like Moses,The Almighty knew I was going to need help on the road ahead.So for three days this lil guy was in my backyard every morning I got off work.

I lost my job 3 months after taking him in.Now normally I hit the streets and do what it takes to make it. Not this time I have some one depending on me to make better choices.So instead of keeping up with Jones' hanging out we ate dinner at an area shelter and slept in the car with nightly restroom trips during the night.Then one night I was walking him and a dog came out of nowhere.They fought.

He has so much energy flowing through him that I never heard him yelp in pain or even favor his mouth. Hes my shadow and he's always around me trying climb on me. That's when I notice the aroma of an infection coming from his breath. He's always on alert to the point that it deters people from conversations I promise you this I've went through some things for him that I wouldn't do for myself

Now that I'm no longer a homeless veteran but a housed veteran who owes this little guy a steak that I wont eat unless its with him and if it wasnt for this service connected disability issue I'd be at McDonald's somewhere working to once again provide my lil dog
