Koko came into my life in a way I never could have planned. Four years ago, I was still trying to find my footing after losing my dog of 10 years—a loss that came just three months after my mom passed. That time in my life felt heavy, quiet, and honestly a little empty.

And then, somehow, she found me.

Over the past few days she hasn’t been acting like herself. She’s been vomiting, not eating her regular food, and I’ve noticed weight loss—her backbone and hip bones are more visible.

She’ll only eat a little if I hand-feed her, and even then it’s not much. Today she seemed weak while walking and almost stumbled, and her energy is definitely lower than usual

Koko is more than my dog—she’s my baby and my comfort. She follows me everywhere, loves being close, and always knows when I need her. She’s playful, sweet, and full of personality. She loves being hand-fed and cuddling up next to me. She truly is family everyone love her.

I’m currently going through a very hard financial time and have no emergency funds. This happened suddenly, and I can’t afford the vet care koko urgently needs. Getting her healthy again would mean everything to me. I just want her safe and okay.
