Kona is a 4.8 year old Labrador Retriever in Austin , LA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Removal of Foreign Object.

I got Kona a few years ago- he’s my ESA (emotional support animal). He helps get me out of a depression at the time - getting me walking many times a day. He’s very silly, and loves to tug. He will play fetch but will not return the ball. He sleeps with me at night sometimes when I’m having nightmares.

Kona is currently at Austin Emergency Services hospital. We are thinking he may have a blockage as he has been having vomiting episodes for the last week and a half. I am waiting right now to hear back from the doctor.

Kona loves walks. He loves people, and dogs. He sometimes talks- like a husky. He takes lots of naps. But when he is excited he has tons of energy. Sometimes him and my kids run back and forth in the house as they giggle. He slides on the laminate floors. My husband likes to “fluff” him down every night.
