About this campaign

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,
Meet Kona, our beloved 7-month-old kitten who has recently been diagnosed with a rare vascular ring anomaly. This condition is causing discomfort and affecting his quality of life, namely his ability to breathe and keep food down. To provide Kona with the care he urgently needs, including a CT scan to fully understand the extent of the anomaly and potential surgery.

Kona has a vascular ring anomaly. He got his CT scan today 7/25/24. His surgery is estimated to cost between $6800-$8049. I had no idea that his surgery would ever cost this much, I’m truly stressed out over this. I want to give him the best life possible!

Kona is such a sweet boy! We met him while on vacation in Kona, Hawaii. We just happened to find a cat cafe one night. The next day we went back to the cafe and met Kona. He has suffered some sort of trauma at a very little age. He’s missing one eye and has damage to his spine. He can see very well with his one eye and his spine doesn’t bother him. It’s the breathing due to the Vascular ring.

When you adopted Kona we knew it might be some added costs, but we never ever thought we’d be facing an amount 10,000 bet bill. We have some savings, but this surgery will empty out bank accounts. Even if we got half of what we’re asking, it’d be a HUGE HELP!
