Korra is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Beaverton, OR, who needs $2,000 for Diabetic Ketone Accidosis.

Korra has been in our family since she was a puppy. She is my son's dog & has been a companion to him through many trials & challenges in his short life. She grew up with him, supporting him through all his mental health challenges & young adult growing pains. Korra & my son are both "homeless" due to continued lack of employment due to mental health disorder. Through it all Korra has been by him

She has had a mass growing on her stomach for 8 months. She was seen in February 25, but lack of financial abilities prevented vet. Care. Recently she has exhibited more signs of illness, lack of appetite, lethargy, vomiting, etc. A trip to the local vet & transfer to Emergency Vet care has a diagnosis of Diabetic Ketone accidosis. She is at Bridgetown Emergency hospital in Tualatin, OR now.

Korra is such a good dog. She is WELL behaved & loved by all. She is sweet with my 10 & 5 yr. Old grandkids. She watches over them & keeps them safe. She provides so much comfort for my son with his mental health. She loves him & he loves her. She is not as active as she was as a puppy, but she is very loving & sweet. She loves belly rubs, ear & back scratches. She loves to roll around in grass.

My son struggles with his mental health & it is hard for him to maintain employment. Its difficult for him to maintain housing & provide care for himself & Korra. This major medical bill to get her well will bring added stress to a difficult situation. They need help :0(
