About this campaign
We got kovu from the National city pet store here in San Diego, Ca 7 years ago. He currently lives with me and my husband, 3 roommates, and another doggie friend named Loca. We enjoy having Kovu around and playing fetch with him every single day. He has a big back yard to run around and pees on all the plants lol.
Kovu lives with me, my husband, and 3 other roommates and their dog. He loves interacting with all of us and playing with his little furry friend Loca. He is fed a special diet due to his EPI diagnosis so he can be picky with his food. He loves vegetables and fruits as a treat and enjoys our roommate's food droppings when they cook in the kitchen.
Kovu is not a normal shiba inu. People mistaken him as a German shepherd mix. He does have all the shiba inu qualities though lol. From whipping his bum against someone to show that he wants to play to his Shiba cry which is something we do not like to hear. He enjoys playing fetch and running after his favorite ball in our back yard
This is Kovu my soon-to-be 7-year-old Shiba Inu. He was recently diagnosed with EPI
(Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) October 2021. He's been in and out of the hospital for about a year now. I don't have any children of my own, so Kovu is my only fur baby.
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. Right now it's been hard financially ad mentally dealing with this news. Trying to keep up with Kovus treatments and unexpected ER visits have been tough. I am unable to pay for both my medical expenses and his during this time.
