Kovu will be 10 hears old next month. I adopted him at one year old to give him a better life. He was always a healthy dog. Living a happy life at home. Now kovu has horners syndrome a disease that has an underlying cause. He's worried. He can barely see and he keeps pawing at the eye that is disfigured due to nerve damage from this diagnosis. Kovu has been our family member for 9 years. He is my best buddy and the only dog I've ever owned. He is a good boy and he was healthy all of his life. He is a senior now and if he didn't have this sudden diagnosis of horners syndrome I feel he would have many years of his life left. Next month is his ,69th birthday and I really want him to see that! He means the world to me.

Early in the morning first thing I get kovu two fresh bowls of water. He will raise his two front paws doing a hop over and over again all the way through the hallway leading to the kitchen . He doesn't stop with his hop until food is in his bowl. Then he gets even more excited. My life wouldn't be the same without my dog. It breaks my heart I cant pay for the treatments to find out the cause.

I noticed my dog had a severally droopy eye and I could see more socket than eyeball. He wasn't looking straight toward me with both eye. I got him into his vet ASAP and when I did he was diagnosed with horners syndrome which effects nerves in the facial muscles which is the cause for the droopy eye. I was only able to get his medicine and a quick scan of his belly which was an inconclusive test. The vet would like to take X-rays, get blood work , and a stool sample. I cant afford this. My dog is my light. When I'm sad he makes me happy. My heart breaks seeing him unwell
