About this campaign
Kuzco was 7 months old when my best friend, Kian, adopted him. Kian and I were roommates. I was very afraid of cats and didn’t like them until I met Kuzco. He is the sweetest cat ever. He has switched many non cat lovers into loving cats. He loved cat food, lettuce and herbs. He purrs all the time.
Kuzco lives with Kian. He is a senior now so he has a calm live. He enjoyed going outside in the patio but tries to go out farther than he really needs to. He loves to explore and he welcomes anyone who comes in the house. He is a very confident cat and a bit territorial. He will sit on you for attention and cuddles.
I am a student and part time nanny. I have been able to get myself in debt with CareCredit for him and my other cat. But there is a limit to my credit and that shouldn’t be the reason Kuzco doesn’t make it. Kuzco being healthy again will give him the joy he deserves.
Kuzco got diagnosed with diabetes about 3 years ago and now he has pancreatitis, gallbladder stone and kidney failure. He has been getting treatment at VCA tymberlyne chapel hill Nc and at Wake Veterinary hospital at knightdale, nc. He is being hospitalized now to get stable. If he gets better, he’ll need more treatment and a feeding tube.
Kuzco is very special to us. Like any other pet, he deserves a chance to live a good quality of life. He purrs all the time and he does a tiny chirp when you touch him or say his name. He is our baby still. He is so gentle and present. He deserves to be healthy and enjoy the small things in life once again.
