Kya came in my life in 2021 when I decided to get a puppy with my roommate. We went searching online for German Shepard puppies but didn’t find any until one night we found an article on Facebook from a person selling German Shepard puppies, but it was already like midnight at this point. We got into contact with the breeder and went to go pick up our puppies, Kya was the first one I picked up.

Kya is a people person, it doesn’t matter who it is or how long they have known her she has always loved people. She doesn’t get to be around many other dogs besides her brother, so any chance she gets all she wants to do is play play play, but with her leg being as hurt as it is it’s very hard for her to get around and do what she loves and wants to do.

Kya’s special to me because at a low and dark point in my life she was the light and high point in it, I just want to be able to do everything I can for her so she can have a great life as a pup. She’s always in a good mood and she always listens to what I tell her despite the pain she’s in. She’s as playful as they come.

Back in August of 2021, I was away at college with my girl Kya and was in line to get hit by Hurricane IDA. We decided to evacuate but when we came back our house was destroyed, so I took her to her brothers house and let them watch her for a couple of months. While she was there she broke her leg in the backyard playing with her brother. Kent Farms Animal Hospital are treating Kya.

I am just now getting out of college and am searching for a job, this amount of money sprung on me with a surprise. To be able to have my Kya healthy again would be everything and some.
