Kyro is a 9-year-old Korgi mix in Austin , TX who needs $1,200 for parvovirus treatment.

Kyro was left to me from a former roommate who could not take her with, Kyro was a rescue and didn’t have a good life before our home. I decided to keep her after my former roommate couldn’t because she is a beautiful dog who has become apart of my life and family. My older dog has taken her under wing and I want kyro to have a good home with familiar faces.

Kyro lives with me, my daughter, one other dog and one other cat. She is the sassy one but also very sweet and loyal at heart. She loves to snuggle with everyone, including the cat, she’s really good around other people but also very protective. She loves to run around the back yard with my 4 year old and is all for attention and warms baths.

The timing of my former roommate moving out and leaving Kyro behind couldn’t have been worse. Because of the current pandemic ( Covid-19) I am on temporary furlough with my job and can not afford all the things I need to this month. It would mean the world to see her better.

Due to recently taking Kyro as my own I do not have all the vet information I’d like to have from my former roommate. We are currently looking into Austin Vet Care at Central Park for treatment and testing. After treatment, Emancipet would be providing preventative care to keep Kyro in good health.

Kyro is special to me because she has a unique dog personality, she’s sassy and very cute. Almost like a sour patch kid, she reminds me of a little fox and puts a smile on my face on any given day. She has a very cute and unique look to her and energy is contagious, she’s definitely the an enlightenment in our home.
