Lacey came into my life as a tiny, feral kitten I found in woods of Lakeville, all alone. He was only weeks old and couldn't even eat on his own. I bottle-fed him until he was strong enough to eat independently, and from that moment on, he was truly the best companion. As he grew, his energy was boundless.

​Lacey has been such a source of joy and comfort in my life, and that's why it's so upsetting to see him struggling now. Lately, he's been experiencing diarrhea, losing weight, and seems off balance. He's also not eating much, and I've noticed him shaking his head frequently, even after I tried using an ear mite treatment called "Skyrim" (which, unfortunately, didn't seem to help).

​Lacey also has a sister, Luna, who is four years old, and they look so much alike! Luna has a black face, while Lacey’s face is black and white. Lacey definitely likes to be the boss and show his dominance, and it's hilarious watching them chase each other around my apartment. Lacey and Luna are truly my ears and eyes. Since I'm hard of hearing, they let me know where a noise is coming from.
