About this campaign

We adopted Lacy when we were going through a difficult time in our life. My mother had terminal cancer and we had to adopt Lacy to bring joy and comfort in a difficult time. My mother died, as well as my father also passed away from Covid and Lacy came at the right time where it brought joy and comfort to us.

Lacy is a very shy but funny dog. Lacy likes to be quiet and lay down a lot, and she also likes to have her own space. She likes laying down next to us sometimes and loves to play with toys or by just running around the house. She’s the friendliest dog I’ve ever met, and rarely barks, and she loves food and going out for walks.

I’m a single mother who is trying to raise my kid. With our dog being healthy again, we can be relieved knowing that everything is okay with our dog, and she can return back to being her happy and carefree self. We need a financial support for this.

A couple days ago Lacy would start shaking and wouldn’t want to go outside. We thought it was some sort of anxiety, but later she started vomiting. We gave her some Pedialyte, but it didn’t help . Eventually she stopped vomiting, but her breathing rate has been accelerating. We went to hospital at the time to see what they can do.

The hospital name is Calusa Veterinary Emergency.

Lacy for some reason likes to randomly lick the air, and it’s just so funny to see her playing with her tongue. It’s so cute to see the joy in her eyes whenever we take out our shoes to take her outside, because she knows what our shoes mean. She also likes to race with my son from his room to the living room, and can be very energetic after taking a bath, and messes up her hair after taking one.
