Lacy is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu Mix in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,117 for Dental Care, Mammary Tumor Removal, and Spay.

Lacy was found wandering all alone in Terrell, Texas. She went to animal control where she was placed on a stray hold, but no one ever came to claim her.

After a few days in the shelter, it became evident that Lacy needed medical attention. She subsequently became "rescue only," which is when Pooch Savers Rescue stepped in.

Lacy is an older lady, at 10 years old. She has suffered neglect her whole life, evident by the state of her poor dental maintenance. Despite it all, she is very playful and very easily entertained. She is a sweetheart who is so eager for human affection and love.

Pooch Savers took Lacy to Mercy Animal Clinic where she had multiple mammary tumors removed, received dental care, and was spayed. Unfortunately, after her spay, she suffered from a minor infection at the incision site.

Pooch Savers Rescue believes every dog deserves a second change. This rescue helps rescue hundreds of dogs, just like Lacy, around areas of Texas, and donating will help them continue to do so.
