About this campaign
I rescued Lacy when she was 11 weeks old as a stray, lost in a random garage. When I found her, she was covered in dirt, very shy and had fleas. After caring for her and getting her well, we’ve been living in CT with my other cat Oliver, her brother.
Lacy is in need because on Dec. 15th 2025, she was vomiting profusely and i didn’t know why. She wasn’t acting like herself, and I immediately knew something was wrong. I then found an open Ibuprofen bottle on the floor with a bitten tablet. After multiple X-rays, ultrasounds, and bloodwork, the doctors found that the levels in her kidneys were not normal. They said she has an acute kidney injury.
Lacy is so young, and doesn’t deserve what is happening right now. She is loved by anyone and everyone who meets her. Her brother loves her, my family and friends adore her and she means everything to me.
I’ve already spent $7000 on care for her to figure out what was wrong. The doctors say she may need more care estimated to $10,000 and I can’t afford it. I’ve started a go fund me, which helps some, but I need help getting her the treatment she needs.
