Lady is a 10-year-old Dachshund in Fresno, CA who needs $1,000 for dental care and extractions .

I have had lady for 10 years, she is everything to me. I drove 8 hours back and forth to get her for my daughters 15th bday. I under go a lot of vet expenses, I do have a care credit but it is maxed out with no way to increase. I love animals more then anything! Living her in Fresno there is a major problem with strays and homeless pets. I go through 40 pounds of dog food in 4.5 days all at my own expense. I get every dog I own spayed/neutered all at my own cost. I have several dogs that I rescued. Not just dachshunds, I will take on any breed that needs a home. I buy treats and toys and never ask anyone for anything. I spend at least 1500 a month on vet bills and dog supplies and I work part time and I am also on disability. I neglect so many of my bills to help the pups. Lady has to have 7 teeth extracted and has two bumps on her face because she has an abscess . Although she received a dental about 1 year ago, the new vet told me that it shouldn’t have gotten this bad in a years time. I paid over 700 for that one and it didn’t help. I love my dogs and want to continue to take care of them, it is the one thing besides my kids that brings me absolute joy.
