Lady is a 9-year-old Pitbull in Silver Spring, MD, who needs $1,100 for TPLO Surgery.

Lady was a rescue that found her forever home with me after being in two other homes. I knew I couldn't let this girl down. Ever since, she's been my 'ride or die'. Every morning she rushes downstairs with me for a joint morning treatment and snuggles session. She's by my side for every evening treatment too! If I'm ever sick or sad, she is right by my side (or on top of me) to offer a lick!

Everyday is the best day for Lady...she greets me every morning outside my bedroom door with a smile. She loves to start her day outside, soaking up sunshine & fresh air. Any time spent in our backyard she's typically sniffing every blade of grass, sunbathing, or investigating what wild life might have been under/around the shed since she last checked (which is why her nickname is Curious George).

Lady has quite the personality. She is quite the independent woman who is not afraid to use her voice to tell me exactly what she wants. She always likes to give me a reminder that I'll need to feed her an hour before her dinner time. She loves to eat out of puzzles (and is so good at them). She is also a great listener, especially when blueberries or carrots are involved.

Lady recently tore her left cruciate ligament. She is such an active dog that it's hard to pinpoint exactly when it happened or how it happened. We went to see her doctor & she confirmed that Lady tore the ligament in her knee and that she would be an excellent candidate for TPLO surgery. We've been through this once before with her right leg & it went great!

This $6,000 surgery is hitting me hard but I gotta do it for my girl. I'll find a way to make this happen but any help would be greatly appreciated as it lessens the burden on me and helps my little coconut get back to her active life.
