laila is a 1.5-year-old American Bully in Lawrenceburg , KY, who needs $800 for Malnourishment and Hip Injury.

Laila was my pick of the litter 1.5 yrs ago. I recently lost my home having to move in with my mom. Where I couldn't have her. I let a friend watch her on 12-19-22 and 2 days later she ran through a fence & went missing. That was over 2 wks ago. Last night 1-10-24 I received a call she had been found she is severely malnourished and can't bare weight or walk. Her hip is badly hurt.

Laila is a sweet loving dog. Nothing like what the breed has a name for. We actually call her a baby dinosaur bc she was so fat and short. She is like my child! She is funny sweet energitic and very lovin and d everyone loves her so much. She gets along with all the other dogs well , the whole family thought she was dead and now that we have found her we just want her back to healthy

Everything she used to do was special. She was so energetic and loving . Now she can't even walk ,stand, or eat . She used to come up and nudge my arm wanting me to move it so she can put her head in my lap. She would also take off running and slide across the floor like she was sliding into home base like a soft ball player

She is severely malnourished dehydrated and something is wrong with her back hip. She will barely eat or drink can't stand or walk. And these are only conditions I am able to see.

I lost my home , my job due to covid. I thought my life was over when she went missing, then she was found and is sick. It's breaking my heart knowing I don't have the means to get her well. Our whole family has cried everyday
